App Store Keyword Field Optimizer

Apple gives you just 100 characters for keywords — and it already indexes every word in your app's title and subtitle. This tool strips out duplicates, removes words you've wasted on the title/subtitle, and drops the spaces after commas so you reclaim every character. Runs entirely in your browser.

How the keyword field works

The App Store keyword field is a hidden, 100-character, comma-separated list that feeds search alongside your app name and subtitle. Apple already indexes every word in the title and subtitle, so repeating them is pure waste. You also don't need spaces after commas, you shouldn't repeat words, and you generally shouldn't include your competitors' trademarks or the words "app" and "free". Every character you reclaim is another term you can rank for.

What this tool does

  • Removes keywords already covered by your title and subtitle.
  • Drops duplicate terms (case-insensitive).
  • Strips spaces after commas and empty entries that waste characters.
  • Shows the optimized field's length against the 100-character limit.
